At Rice Thai Restaurant we use only the freshest, quality ingredients sourced locally including the best authentic Thai herbs and spices.
We are happy to assist you choose from a range of meals including traditional Thai entrees and soups to authentic Thai salads, curries, stir fries, rice and noodle.
Our dishes are prepared and cooked fresh to order, ensuring dishes are fresh and flavoursome when they arrive at your table.

Superb authentic food
My husband and I went to this restaurant whilst visiting Bedford. We both love Thai food and this restaurant was one of the best that we have been to and we have eaten at a lot of restaurants. My husband was delighted that they had...M whitebait on the menu and after he had eaten it he said it was the best that he had ever eaten. We also has the Ribs (succulent), Chicken in Ginger and beef green curry, all absolutely delicious. The food was so good that we complimented the owner on the delicious food, who was very friendly along with all the staff. The prices for the outstanding quality of the food is also good. Highly Recommended. Also a bonus that the restaurant was air conditioned.

Authentic food & outstanding friendly service
We went last night for a last minute get together for my Mothers birthday. I looked at the previous reviews and I’m so glad I made the decision to book here. Not only is the food gorgeous but the warm welcome and friendly service is...M all you could ask for. I think all of us picked something different off the menu and none of us had any complaints.
I can certainly recommend the mixed starter for two, the spicy squid alone was divine. The seafood curry and giant king prawns were also delicious…. To be fair everything was.
I certainly will be returning again when I’m back in Bedford in a few weeks time and after raving about the food to my friends and sure a few more will be coming

Nice Thai
Cosy restaurant with friendly service. Welcomed with crackers and chilli sauce. Hadn't had Yellow Thai Curry before, it was delicious. Pad Thai was good too.

Lovely meal, great service and great understanding of dietary requirements
A lovely meal, with great service. The restaurant were very aware of our multiple dietary requirements and has no trouble in accommodating for us all. They remembered specifically which of us had which dietary requirement, which made us all feel at ease. On multiple occasions,...M they checked to see how our meals were and were always smiling and friendly. Very attentive and I will definitely be making the half an hour trip to visit again soon. Thank you so much!

Great food, Excellent Service
Had an amazing experience in this restaurant. The food was well cooked and well presented, full of lots of flavour and with the perfect spice levels. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and accommodating and I thoroughly enjoyed the service I received. The overall atmosphere...M of the restaurant was great and I would definitely be coming here again for another meal.

Amazingly tasteful food
Booked up for a long overdue wedding anniversary meal and was not disappointed. The food was comparable to the meals we had had in Thailand and the service was the usual Thai attentive and pleasingly polite. Would certainly go again anniversary or not.

Meal with bedford mountaineering club
I arranged a night out with some members from Bedford mountaineering club, the communications I had with the restaurant where excellent and they really now how to provide good customer service. As for the meal it was superb and we really enjoyed it definitely recommend...M them it's only a small restaurant but definitely woth a visit I will definitely go agin.
